Students (U 18)

Music & drama lessons (normally around 2hours per week)

Inexpensive, really enjoyable and educational experience with highly experienced/qualified tutors & guides

Around three weeks of extra reheasals (optional that can amount up to around 100 hours)

Performing opportunities in professional theatres, TV and radio

Submission for grades and diplomas in music and drama (optional)

Junior Classes The Junior School is designed for Ages 5-12. Really good introduction and head start in singing, acting and dancing! Saturdays 10:00 AM-12:00 AM
Senior Classes
The Senior School is designed for ages 13 and up. Entry to the Senior School is normally by successful application and audition Only (See Auditions Below) Workshops run every Saturday (Normally 12-2pm)
  Aspiring Professionals (18+) If you are 18 or over and have serious ambitions to be a professional singer, actor, teacher or entertainer of any kind then we would encourage you to join our professional production company. Its free but there is an audition. Over 18s take large roles in productions, lead and guide younder performers or even run your own productions with the help from the Priory! Audition Information If you are over the age of 13, applying for the senior school or over 18 and applying for the adult program, you must audition for general entry to the Conservatoire. Your audition will last no longer than 15 minutes and will be in a relaxed atmosphere to encourage your best possible performance. Your audition will be chance for you to show our tutors that you can command a stage, or at least have the potential to do so in the future. In your audition, we will be looking for the following criteria:
  • a well prepared and rehearsed audition
  • a genuine and convicted performance
  • the drive and potential to go far in performing
  • a positive attitude and outlook
Audition Requirements
At your audition, you will be required to perform two pieces:
Piece A:  The performance of a Song, Monologue, Choreography or any other work created by someone else
  • This audition piece tests how you can interpret someone else's work.
  • You can perform in any style
  • The piece should be performed from memory
  • The performance should be no longer than 4 minutes in total
  • You are allowed to bring accompaniment if you wish, there will be a piano and CD Player at your audition.
Piece B: A Contrasting Piece of Something Original
  • This audition piece tests if you can create a song, piece of drama, dance routine, short film or any other 'performance' by your self
  • The piece should be performed from memory
  • You can perform in any style
  • The performance should be no longer than 2 minutes in total
  • You are allowed to bring accompaniment if you wish, there will be a piano and CD Player at your audition.
  • You will be allowed additional performers such other actors, backing vocalists, dancers or band. Additional musicians such as guitarists or drummers etc  should bring their own instruments.
The Result
You will be notified by letter, phone call or email no later than three weeks after your audition to let you know of the result.
Student Fees 
If you are lucky to gain entry to the Priory, you will be expected to commit to the priory and work hard on the projects we offer.
£60 for a full term (12 weeks). £50/term for two students from same family. £40/term for three students from same family. All students should register using the application form below and the older classes may require an audition.
